• Why work with a Design-Build Team?

  • Our team is a “one stop shop” so you have a seamless experience from the beginning to end, and there is never any conflict between the designer and builder.
    

• Do you only do Lane Houses?

  • No! We design and build homes of all sizes, including single family homes, vacation homes, duplexes and multiplexes. With our partner company Oori Architecture we can also deliver larger multifamily or commercial projects.
    

• Can you do just the design, or just the build?

  • Yes! We can do just the design if you are an owner-builder or developer, and we can do just the construction if you already have a permit in hand.
    

• Do you have experience with Passive house and Net Zero?

  • We’re one of Vancouver’s most experienced builders of Passive House and Net Zero projects with many certified homes in both categories. We’ve been on the cutting edge of green building approaches for the last 17+ years.
    

• How do your construction costs compare?

  • Our construction costs are often right in the middle range of custom home builders, and we are consistently one of the most affordable builders of Passive House and Net Zero homes.
    

• What’s the typical project schedule?

  • We would usually spend about 1 year doing the design, engineering, and permitting with the local city. After that, the build is usually 12 to 18 months depending on the sizem, complexity, and site.
